Lisa Jey Davis is an amazing woman. Not only was she fearless in leaving her abusive marriage, but she actually created her new career by shear force, and she also openly writes about her journey, warts (or life lessons) and all. Her authenticity is endearing, and her adventures in Hollywood are exciting and offer the reader a "behind the scenes" view of some very glamorous celebrity events. Definitely worth a read!
A fun insider's view on the glamorous life but also an empowering story of a single mom forging ahead to overcome obstacles, insecurities and life's challenges to live a life she imagined was out there beyond her current situation. The author shares her fun stories along with her heartbreak and challenges as if she was your long lost girlfriend sitting across from you at the table drinking a dirty martini. The book is conversational and witty but written with a lot of heart that allows other moms, single moms and single ladies to relate even if they've never worked in Hollywood and rubbed elbows with the stars like Ms. Cheevious. This book was a great place to spend a chilly fall New England weekend. A great escape.
This memoir was SO MUCH FUN to read!!! I love how Lisa holds nothing back, and embraces all the she was, is, and will be with a grace many strive to obtain their entire life.

Lisa is one of the most talented and funny writers I've ever known. This book is a FUN read for anyone who'd interested in the ups and downs of the Hollywood life stye.
Very inspiring. I really enjoyed reading this well written book ! Funny, sad, powerful, uplifting was the experience that the author had trying to break through in the entertainment industry , Tinsel Town aka Hollywood. Everything was against her, the odds were not great but she made it happen! It's a light and easy read and I can't wait for her next book to come out.
Funny and revealing, Lisa Jey Davis pens an engaging and highly readable Hollywood memoir, using a conversational tone that makes it feel like she's relating the stories directly to you. Makes you want to accidentally run into her poolside in Hollywood, pull up a chair and a margarita and enjoy having her talk your ear off. This has got to be the next best thing.
